Food, Food and more Food!

Here are some of the things we have been eating.

One of the four squash we bought on a shopping trip. So far we liked 2 out of the three we have eaten. There is one left which will probably be eaten tonight. 
This one was also good.



My breakfast. I love eggs with green beans! So I take left over green beans and heat them in a skillet. Then add my egg and cook until the egg is done. Yum, yum, yum! Added a slice of homemade rye bread toasted with a little spray butter.




Veggies! I am always looking for ways to have veggies without them being the same ol' boring ones over and over and without them being mixed with things to make them not so boring to not so healthy. A friend made this mix and I thought it was so good. I will be making this often! Thank you!
This veggie is a mixture of pretty much your choice of veggies, but here is what is in this mixture: bag of mixed greens (like collard, kale, turnip), parsnips, carrots, celery, garlic, onion, pink beans, can diced tomatoes, chicken broth. I can't wait to make my first mess of this. I already know what veggies I am going to use and so far in my head it sounds yummy!

P.S. You may be thinking, "I see potatoes." Sorry those are not potatoes you see, they are parsnips.
