Paisley Vegan Kitchen

There is a wonderful vegan restaurant in Cocoa Beach called Paisley Vegan Kitchen. The problem is, it's too far so we don't go much. I think we've been 4 times in a year. Well, they opened a second restaurant and it's closer to us!

They are finally open so we went Thursday. My Aunt was visiting and she enjoys going with us to our vegan restaurants. There aren't really any around her where she lives. It was a good dinner and now that they are closer we will be going more often.

We decided to have an appetizer. We got the Trash Fries. I do wish it was more for the cost. But they were good. Just probably won't get them due to the small amount and larger price.

Logan and my Aunt had the "Chicken" & Waffles. They let me try it and it was yummy!

My hubby got the "Chicken" Alfredo. And, yep, it was yummy too!

I got the "Chicken Parm" dish. I didn't really care for it that much. The menu said it was homemade pasta sauce. That's what I didn't like. It looked and tasted like nothing but seasoned tomato paste. It was thick and dark and well.....tomato paste. I've never seen a pasta sauce made with all tomato paste. I make my sauce with crushed tomatoes and seasonings. But it's okay. I just won't order it.

Love that there are more vegan restaurant options! Keep them coming!
