December Cruise 2016 - Regal Princess

Our yearly cruise was with a different ship line this year, the Princess Cruise Line. We took the new ship, the Regal Princess. I don't think it was any different from the line we usually cruise. But it's nice to go on different ones. They take you to different places. We might go on the Royal Caribbean Line next year, we're still talking about it. Anywho, we had fun and enjoyed it none the less. The water was breath taking! Such a beautiful blue!

Veterans Day Parade

In November our son was in the Veterans Day Parade with his ROTC class. They all did good and we are very proud of him. Hubby couldn't be there cause he was working. But I took video and pictures for him and y'all! It was long and hot but it was nice!

Happy Halloween!

What fun halloween is when you have little ones! Hubby and I are at the stage in our life where instead of walking the kids around for candy all dressed up we sit home and give out candy. It's okay tho, it's their turn. We really enjoyed seeing the grand babies all dressed up. Bug was a ladybug and little J was a monster.

Little J's 2nd Birthday

My daughter is dating this wonderful young man! And, like her, he has a cute 2 year old. But he has a boy while Nori has a girl. So it makes for a beautiful family! This little guys 2nd birthday is 2 months after Bugs 2nd birthday. I realized I didn't get much pictures and I didn't get one of the cookie cake or cupcakes.....bad Nana! But honestly I did't want to push and intrude on his real grandparents and family members special time. So here are the pictures I do have.

Oktoberfest 2016

We go every year to the Oktoberfest. My hubby has been going longer as he went for his birthday; it's in October. I started going when we got together. We didn't go last year tho, as it seemed to be getting more costly on the beer and the quality of the food seemed to be going down. But we decided to go none the less this year. It was packed, as always, and with a lot more young new drinking age people. Which we didn't enjoy being around. So anywho, lets get on with the pictures, right!

Shell Factory & Nature Park

We had a wonderful time at the Shell Factory & the Nature Park with family. Although it is sad to see the trapped, caged animals it was nice to spend time with family. I didn't get pictures of all the family that was with us. I just don't seem to be good at this kind of stuff....lol   Oh well, I did manage to get pictures of my beautiful grand baby tho!!

Bug's 2nd Birthday!!

Wow...2 years old!! It is going by fast! Our granddaughter turned 2 last weekend. She is wonderful. As much as we are enjoying watching her grow I miss holding her little bundle of new born-ness in my arms.

Playing Some Golf

So the guys sometimes play golf. And when they do Mom and I get to drive the carts! We're probably the worst caddies they have but oh well! We make it fun....lol   This was a few weeks ago.

Trip to Melbourne!

So hubby had to go on a business trip to Melbourne. And as his lucky wife I got to go with him! I have not been to Melbourne and was excited to go. Granted I would be on my own during the day. Being a business trip for hubby he has to go to work every day.....awe sorry. But we can still enjoy time together when he gets off work.

Timeshare June 2016

This is our first year with the timeshare being ours! We purchased it last year. So this year we stayed in it as OUR's....yay. It feels nice to have a place to go and not have to worry about pre booking anything. We know exactly how it will look and everything. A timeshare isn't for everyone but it works for us! I love taking pictures of the ocean and the sunrise too.

Rain, rain go away!

We had some real good rain here in SW Florida. We usually do get good rain but this was different. My in-laws community flooded! That has never happened in all the years they lived there. A lot of other area flooded also, we were okay. Our community didn't flood, thank goodness. But that was due to the manager drained the pond a lot!! So with all the rain it really helped to keep us from flooding.

Monarch Butterflies

Well, my mom-in-law started a hobby of raising monarch butterflies. She enjoys it. I had no plans to do it but it happened.....by mistake. I got a plant to add to my collection. I didn't know what it was and don't care. As long as it lives I'm happy. One day my in-laws were over and my mom saw the plant and told me what it was. It is a host plant for monarch butterfly eggs and caterpillars. Every time they came over she inspected my plant for eggs. Then one day she saw a baby caterpillar! Holy shit was it adorable!! So tiny! She told me that I had to take the plant on my screened porch to protect it from being eaten. So here I am taking care of a baby caterpillar. Then one day I went out to check on it and there was another one! There were two but we missed seeing the second one at first. They eat the crap out of the host plant too. And they grow fast!

This is the one my mom-in-law found. It is so tiny. I was close to get the picture. But then took a picture of the plant so you can see how small the plant itself is.

Outside project and garden

We wanted a sitting area where we could have a garden and not worry about the dogs or our granddaughter. So we started this project and the results turned out very nice. We are happy with it. BUT it is hard to enjoy it during spring and summer down here in southwest florida!!! None the less tho we do like it and glad we finally finished it.

Work, Play, Eat

I know how long it's been, but does it really matter? This post is just a little of work time, play time and eating. I am a caregiver and took pictures of one the things I did with my last client. The family likes to go shooting when we can and took some pictures of that. And of course we like to eat! So we went to a new restaurant and took some pictures of that as well. Enjoy....we do!

October Cruise 2015

We took our cruise in October.....Halloween!! Drinks were free!! We went to four places on this cruise....Honduras, Belize, Costa Maya and Cozumel. Mom-in-law and I really liked Costa Maya. We took a shit load more picture than I want to post....lol. But I put some purdy awesome one's on here for ya.

A very late post of Christmas 2015

We had a really good Christmas. I've not been posting like I keep saying I will. Oh well, I don't know what else to do but keep trying. So my pictures are getting full and I have time to post something. I'll start with Christmas! Also our Bugs second Christmas but her real first Christmas where she kinda knows what's going on.

First, before Christmas we put a mattress in the back of hubby's truck and go thru the neighborhood looking at lights. This was Bugs first time doing this. For a while she just keep saying "wow" and then feel asleep.
