We had some real good rain here in SW Florida. We usually do get good rain but this was different. My in-laws community flooded! That has never happened in all the years they lived there. A lot of other area flooded also, we were okay. Our community didn't flood, thank goodness. But that was due to the manager drained the pond a lot!! So with all the rain it really helped to keep us from flooding.

This is the rain we were getting, nicely filling up the pond. I zoomed in on the mama duck and her babies, that was the standing water on the back side of our yard.
Then we go to my in-laws and OMG! Here we are just driving down the road trying to get to their house. We took the truck cause we knew it was flooded, just didn't realize how bad.
This was when we got out of the truck. I was standing in the driveway and David was standing on the sidewalk.
I don't know if it's noticeable but that is water covering the ground leading to the front steps. And of course you can see the back yard.
So we went for a walk to check the neighborhood out.
Mind you most of these picture we are walking on the road!
This is the golf course. We were walking on the golf cart buggy road.
It just kept getting deeper and deeper. That picture below it is right below my knees!
