Just some stuff

Just pictures of a few things.

Fruit - a gift after surgery

Vinegar - you can flavor it

Applesauce - homemade and easy

Craft - something that both my daughter and I did

Okay, this came to my house after I was home from having surgery. My hubby's boss got it for me. How sweet! He works for an awesome company. Thank you! I love fruit and this was wonderful! Of course my son and hubby ate a shit ton of it....lol

We were at a mall about 2 hours north of our home. There was a store there that sold flavored vinegar and oil. Well I know how to flavor oil.....just add the herbs/spices to the oil and let it marry for a while, then use it. But I didn't know about flavoring vinegar so I was interested. I soaked some cut up strawberries in vinegar and let it set for about 2-3 weeks. I strained the fruit thru a large mesh strainer and finished by using cheese cloth. This is the result. And it taste good!

I put some peeled and cored apples in my HealthMaster Blender and got this wonderful, real, 100% applesauce! Nothing added...just apples. It was so good and enjoyed eating it. So when I want real, fresh applesauce this is all I have to do.

Lastly, our daughter took a couple cabinet doors when we removed our kitchen cabinets. She wanted to use them for a craft project. Well she made a chalk board out of one of them for me! The chalk board paint doesn't work as well as a real chalk board or it was just the kind of chalk she gave me with it. So I had this clipping from a magazine years ago and liked what it said. After all these years I was finally able to use that saying. I put it on the chalk board and hung it up over my bed. I love it.

Enjoy your day!
