Here is a recipe for chocolate chip cookies I made. Everyone liked them. So I thoughts I'd share them with you. Enjoy!
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 egg
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 cup chocolate chips
Cream first 3 ingredients together. Stir in the next 3 ingredients. Combine the next 3 ingredients and add to the batter. Mix in the last 2 ingredients. Drop by tbsp on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

*We no longer use butter. These still came out good with lite margarine. And 12 minutes is what is needed if you don't want under cooked cookies. I don't like cookies still raw and/or doughy in the middle. Soft and chewy, yes......raw/doughy, no. Also, I don't use a tbsp to make my cookies. I use an ice cream scoop. I have a small one that is perfect for cookie dough!
