Thanksgiving

Okay....for Thanksgiving we shared it with our friends that live across the street. We had good food and enjoyed the day together.

I made two homemade pies - pecan and pumpkin. So I had to make the pie shell. I used a recipe that doesn't use butter, margarine or lard/shortening. I uses oil. I keep oil on hand and have it more than the other ingredients. Well, I never have lard/shortening in the house. And rarely have butter. Anywho, the recipe uses oil. So dry ingredients in one bowl and wet ingredients in another.

Mix and combine. Roll out on counter.

Place in pie plate and add your filling.

Sorry, didn't take a picture of the pumpkin pie before baking.

Bake and enjoy! Easy Peasy!

Serve everything buffet style and dig in!
Happy Thanksgiving!!

(the kids were on the patio eating)

And my awesome find at a flea market! For $1!!!!!! Gobble gobble
