Christmas craft

My friend told me how to make a wreath out of toilet/paper towel rolls. So we both started to collect them to make our wreath. It was pretty easy and didn't look too bad.

Flatten the rolls and cut 4-5 strips from each one.

Hot glue them into a flower shape, using 4 or five pieces. I used 5 to make my flowers.

Then glue the flowers together making a circle shape. My friend said they are suppose to be glued to a styrofoam wreath, but hey, we didn't have one and didn't want to spend money on one. This whole project for me was free! Why spend money?

I took it outside to spray paint it. I used green and red because that is what I had. I ended up running out of the green before painting the whole thing so I just finished with the red.

I had a 4 petal flower left over so I glued it under another flower to try to get the look of berries.
Then outlined the edges with glitter glue. And the final touch was glueing on a crystal flat backed stone to the center of each flower.
