Love like no other!

My daughter was pregnant and I have been occupied with it all! So now she has had the baby...yay!! And has moved out...poo and yay....mixed feelings on that one. No one wants to see there kids go and yet I want her to be her own adult. So my days don't have her in it as much as when she was with child...haha. I have decided to try to use this time to get back to our little family blog...yay!! This post, of course, is going to be the start of getting back in the swing of things. And it will be of my awesome, most wonderful, beautiful, precious, awesome (did I say awesome)....grandchild!! The new love in my life!! Oh and my daughter....my world!! Okay, I'll stop and post the awesomeness.....

A day at the Park

We have a preserve down the road from us. A nice place to take walks. They also have trails for horses and bicycles. We took our big dog with us to enjoy a walk on the hike/horse trail. He got to see his first horse and just looked at the big 'dog'....lol.

Cinco de Mayo

I know....this is way late! I'm posting it now tho. We had a great time. Things are slow on the blog for me so I am going to take some time while I have it to play catch-up. Starting with Cinco de Mayo.

From the garden

I posted about the garden we are trying out in the yard. The potatoes were done and I harvested them. And we got one tomato so far. The other tomatoes are still growing. I'll take them as they become done. We did't get much potatoes but we were very happy with what we did get.

Minecraft cake and fishing

Our son's 13th birthday was last month and I made him a Minecraft cake. He likes the game so I figured it would be nice as a cake. Plus he went fishing and got a pretty big one!

Georgia storm duty

Hubby went to the storm duty in Georgia. He was gone for a week. He was in north area of Georgia and was cold the whole time....poor baby! I was jealous! Anywho, he took pictures for me and got some from others that were there taking pictures.
