Rain Rain...don't go away!

Things in the yard aren't surviving to well. Everything was starting to struggle because of much needed rain. I would water them the best I could but things were getting dry! Then finally...........RAIN!!! Yay, we got rain!!

 So this is my butterfly garden. This is how nice they look when they aren't dying of lack of rain! What's in the garden now: lantana plants, zinnia flowers and milkweeds. Oh yeah, and a crown of thorns. I have a list of all that I would like to have in this garden. A little at a time is how it's going. Especially with spells of no rain. To have more plants I am going to have to start collecting rain!

This here is the potato plants. Such purdy little purplish flowers. They grew so wonderful! Will definitely be growing more potatoes next time. I didn't take pictures of the other veggies that are growing so I will have to do another post. I have been doing videos for my youtube instead. 

 Now back to the beautiful rain we got!

And finally my amazing desert rose. It bloomed and right after that bloom was over with it bloomed again! I didn't know they bloomed back to back like that, very nice!
