Bathroom pictures....6

Okay so I took pictures of the rest of the bathroom redo, the other side of the bathroom.
So far this is where we are at. Almost there with being bone. We still need to finish the counter top and replace the sink/faucet, also I will be painting the door frames and door and, of course, laying down a floor. But the floor has to be done thru the whole house so I don't count that (smile).

Oh yeah, after taking the pictures I also noticed we haven't hung the pictures back on the walls.
Hey......we're getting there! At least we can use our bathroom again instead of the kids.

Okay. Love the new light! Had to just get that said so I can continue.
Hubby took down the large, awful mirror that was there. This nicer one I painted. It was a medicine cabinet and white-ish. I took the mirror off the medicine cabinet part and just used the mirror. Wanting it took look really good up against the purple wall I painted it black. The frame has a design around the edge. I wanted that also to pop some how. So I took some gold painted and a very stiff brush and kinda scuffed it on the design. I wasn't trying to be perfect either. It has a rustic look and I totally happy with how it came out. I know I didn't get a close up of the frame so I will try to remember to do that before the final post.....hopefully there aren't too many more left to go, huh....whew.

I decided to make the cabinets match the mirror. So...you guessed it, I painted it black and did gold paint around the doors and drawers. I also found gold spray paint in the shed and some knobs and painted them with the spray gold paint. I am really liking how it all came out! I can't wait to show you how I am doing the counter top!!

And the closet area in the bathroom. All painted that beautiful purple. Found an old tapestry that is purple and black (couldn't get any more awesome than that, right?) so I used it for the 'door' of the closet (it didn't have one anyway and I don't always want to see the crap I keep in there).
Alright then....that is where we are. More to come when we do more.
