I really like this tradition and have been doing it every Christmas since!
Make this Christmas wreath before the first sunday in December. Then on the first sunday light one candle, let it burn for just a little while. On the second sunday light two candles......and so on. You can also put little wreath decorations on the wreath, I just don't. I like it the way it is. Here is how I make mine.
Item needed: wire frame with candle holders attached, real tree trimmings, 4 candles - I use white but saw a set in the store for this wreath that were 3 purple and one pink.
Wrap the trimmings around the wire frame letting it secure itself.
Continue until the wreath is full but not so full to cover the candle holders.
Add the candles and your done.
Put the wreath where you want it.
Now you are ready for the first sunday in December.
